Rev. Dr. Stephen Bowie
Being from the Pacific Northwest,
Dr. Rev. Bowie can grill a salmon and tell the difference between a hemlock and a fir tree. He has a passion for creating environments where people can extend their discipleship to Jesus Christ in directions they’ve not yet explored. He believes our goal as brothers and sisters in Christ is often “to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.” Music is essential in all he presents in worship.

He studied at York College of Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in musical performance summa cum laude. He directed the York Chorus, several church choirs, a community band and formed a musical performing group called “Main Street.” Tom attended the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, PA., where he earned a Master of Divinity degree, leading to ordination as a Pastor in the Lutheran Church. Throughout his career in the church Tom used his musical gifts in his pastoral work.
